‘Please give me my life back’ – 18-yr-old British boy Jailed for sleeping with 17-yr-old girl in Dubai cries out to UAE ruler

Marcus Fakana, the youngster who was imprisoned in the UAE for sleeping with a 17-year-old girl has cried out over his sentence.

Marcus begged the Dubai Prince to intervene in his sentence so he could get his life back and return to his family.

Marcus Fakana 18, who is currently in a maximum-security prison was with his family in the United Arab Emirates when he slept with teenage girls including girls from the UK.

In a chat with MailOnline from the UAE where he was sentenced to 12 months in jail, Fakana begged: ‘Please give me my life back’.

Marcus expressed remorse and apologised for defying the law.

He said: ‘I was sentenced to one year in Dubai prison. My family and I are devastated and in shock.

‘I never intended to break the law. It didn’t occur to me at the time and for that, I’m sorry.

‘I am asking His Highness, Sheikh Mohammed Al Maktoum to please forgive me and pardon me. Let me go home. Please give me my life back”.

On Wednesday, December 11, his representative described his judgment as an ‘utter disgrave and assured that Marcus Fakana would appeal the sentence they also described as ‘unreasonable’.

It is gathered from the Tottenham-bred teenager that Marcus and the 17-year-old girl were on a vacation in Dubai from the United Kingdom where the age of consent is sixteen.

Marcus had opened up to his family about his encounter with the girl but the girl had not said about it to her own family.

Meanwhile, Marcus’s parents have flown back to the UK to resume work in order to raise money for Marcus’s accommodation in Dubai.

We gathered that one of his parents works in a warehouse and the other works as a cleaner.

Reacting to the situation on Instagram, a user Efe X wrote;

‘Honestly I feel bad for this kid ! At the same time I feel like parents should do better when they take their kids on vacations because according to Dubai law that girl is not a legal adult !!!
